School Admissions
If you would like to apply for a place for your child to attend Robert Sandilands, the process to follow depends on the age of your child.
Nursery
For entry to the Nursery (children aged 3-4), Robert Sandilands manages admittance according to the Admissions Policy.
You may register your interest in a Nursery place from your child's second birthday. If you would like to register your child for a Nursery place (F1), please use the Application form. Please note that this does not guarantee you a place and no place will be allocated without completion of the Nursery Admission Form.
Reception to Year Six
For entry to Reception (children aged 4-5) through to Year Six (children aged 10-11), admittance to Robert Sandilands is managed by West Berkshire Council. This process is outlined on their website:

Reception (first time application)
Applications for Primary school places, where a child is attending school for the first time, are managed to a national timetable. The admission process is known as the 'Normal Admissions Round' and is co-ordinated between local authorities across England. For more information please see the West Berkshire website.

Reception to Year 6 (out if year admission)
For entry outside the normal admissions round, parents can make an application for West Berkshire School Places at any time in the year. This is known as an 'In Year Application' and applications made in this way can be processed up to six weeks, or half a term, in advance of your requested start date. See the West Berkshire website for more details.
